Ever spent five nights and four days in the mystically alluring desert light? And no, going to “Burning Man” doesn’t count. At least in this case, not until you have fully experienced all the pleasures of the Palm Springs Photography Festival.

Sponsored in part by Samy’s Camera, this year’s photo-fest is being held at the Korakia Pensione Hotel in Palm Springs from March 30 – April 4. Come and join photography lovers from around the globe to meet an elite crew of famous photographers, museum curators, art directors, and photography educators.

There are fabulous learning opportunities here for all who are visually inclined. Attend a symposium on learning the tricks of the commercial art photography trade. Breeze into a seminar class to brush up on your technical skills and take your Photoshop knowledge to the next level. Or, tumble into a workshop on desert landscape photography, portraiture, or even lofty, aerial photography. The event wouldn’t be complete without a workshop on the fine art nude as well. Combine all these studies into one, and you and your camera will be more than ready take on Burning Man after all.
