Scavenger Hunt!

Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County
Members of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County can enjoy a monthly adventure in the “Scavenger’s Safari.” Patron Family Members and higher are invited to put on their safari hats and search the Museum for secret clues. This monthly program for kids and adults offers an exclusive opportunity to explore behind-the-scenes with a museum expert.
Each month brings a different safari. Recent searches include “Crazy for Custaceans,” “Fantastic Fossil Invertebrates” (featuring some of the Museum’s most unusual fossilized creatures), and a “Space Safari” all about Mars. Wow!
The kids and family tour begins at 11:00 am – the adults only scavenger safaris start at noon. This event is free with a Patron Family Membership, but reservations are required. Visit the Museum’s web site for details on upcoming hunts.
